曾振中，主要从事生态水文、陆气相互作用、全球环境变化和地球系统模拟等相关领域研究，致力于了解地球系统的动力机制，实现人类社会的可持续发展。当前研究侧重于热带地区的农业扩张、环境影响及其解决方案。累计发表SCI论文75篇，其中第一或通讯作者论文21篇（包括Science、Nature Climate Change、Nature Geoscience、Nature Sustainability等），被引用5833次（Google Scholar统计结果；2021/09/14），部分研究成果被成为IPCC报告的支撑材料，并多次被科技媒体报道（普林斯顿大学主页、参考消息、AAAS、BBC、Bloomberg, Science Daily等）。获邀担任IPCC第六次评估报告的同行评审专家，同时参与Nature Sustainability等30份SCI学术期刊的同行评审服务。

    Zhenzhong Zeng is an associate professor in the School of Environmental Science and Engineering at Southern University and Technology. He is a specialist of earth system science with top 1% citations for cross-field based on Thomson Reuters, 2020 Highly Cited Researchers. His major areas of research are physical geography, earth system and global change, biosphere-atmosphere interaction, terrestrial hydrology, applied energy with a focus on hydro, solar and wind power. His research draws heavily upon transdisciplinary inference, process-based approaches, data-driven machine, satellite remote sensing and ground observation systems. He has published more than 75 scientific papers in SCI journals like Science, Nature, Nature Climate Change, Nature Geoscience, Nature Sustainability.
