        Short Bio: Dr Bing Li is an assistant professor at Tsinghua University, a registered engineer under Engineering New Zealand, a reviewer for the EU Croatian fund, a winner of the Environmental Technology Progress Award (2/14) and the managing Editor for Regional Studies in Marine Science. His research areas include: 1) Regional and global phosphorus flow quantification and system optimization, including substance flow analysis, uncertainty assessment and the development of decision-making strategies. 2) Water remediation and phosphorus recovery employing biochemical processes, i.e. struvite crystalization, phosphorus adsorption and struvite biomineralization. 3) Nutrient cycling and sustainable coastal development considering land-and-sea coordination.
