Gabriela Topa is a Full Professor at the Social and Organizational Psychology Department, from The National Distance Education University, in Madrid, Spain. She holds a Ph.D. in Social Psychology from UNED University (2004). Her past research can be grouped into three large lines. The first line focuses on the Psychological Contract and Organizational Justice, with special emphasis on the role of organizations in managing the breakdown of the psychological contract of their workers. The second focuses on the adverse or dysfunctional situations that many workers must suffer in organizations, such as harassment, violence or discrimination, and the negative impact that work stress has on them, even reaching burnout situations. The third line has focused on retirement and the planning and preparation processes of this exit, always insisting on the responsibility of organizations. Now she is interested in incorporating the advances of the Psychology of sustainability approach to Heaht Promotion and Personal wellbeing for individuals, groups and societies. Currently she has 3 six-year research periods awarded by the CNEAI (National Council for Research Assessment) (2001-06, 2007-2012; 2013-2018), she has supervised 20 doctoral theses during the last 5 years. They all got the highest mark. One of them have also obtained PhD extraordinary award, and four have been International Doctorates. She has published 140 articles, most of them in journals with the JCR impact index; and 35 book chapters. According to Google academic, she has 4770 citations, and h-index = 34; i10 = 93. She has also participated in 17 R&D projects (2 European Project, 2 national -in 3 as IP- and 2 from autonomous communities; 7 financed by Private or Public institutions) and 3 financed by competitive calls from the university. And, finally, since 2005, which she took on as a professor to her current position as Full Professor, I have been involved in teaching coordination at my University. I have done this in the subject of Psychology of work of the Bachelor's Degree in Psychology first, in Psychology Degree Psychology Psychology and in the Master's Degrees in Research in Psychology, Prevention of Occupational Risks, Training of the Teachers of Secondary Education and until the present in the Master's Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention.
