Tsinghua University, Shenzhen International Graduate School 中国

Dr. Huang is an interdisciplinary environmental scientist, with expertise in pollution control and environmental fate and transport, exposure and risk assessment. He received a B.S. degree in 2011 from Tsinghua University; and Ph. D. degree in 2015 from University of California, Santa Barbara. Dr. Huang is an Associate Professor of environmental science and technology at the Institute of Environment and Ecology, Shenzhen International Graduate School, Tsinghua University. He leads an environmental nanotechnology research group, addressing both environmental applications and implications of engineered nanomaterials (ENMs). His research expertise and interests lie in advancing knowledge on the physicochemical fate and transport of emerging contaminants (e.g., ENMs, microplastics, pharmaceuticals, etc.) as well as their potential impacts on organisms in aquatic and terrestrial systems; developing novel functional materials and techniques for the removal of emerging contaminants.
