Chengqing Yuan Professor

Chengqing Yuan is currently working as a professor and the vice dean of School of Transportation and Logistics Engineering, Wuhan University of Technology. He obtained the Ph.D. degree in vehicle operating engineering at Wuhan University of Technology in 2005. His research areas cover marine tribology, new energy aided ship power system, and ship energy efficiency improvement. He hosted more than 20 research projects in recent years, including 4 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published more than 100 SCI papers in high-quality journals. He serves as President of the Intelligent New Energy Ship Technology Innovation Industry Alliance and Member of WG 217 working groups of World Association for Waterborne Transport Infrastructure (PIANC).
