殷振元 副教授

清华大学 中国

Dr. Yin holds a Ph.D. in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering from the National University of Singapore. He is currently an Assistant Professor with Tsinghua University, Shenzhen International Graduate School. With a strong background in chemical engineering, his expertise lies in thermodynamics, kinetics, and the coupled processes of heat and mass transfer and multiphase flow associated with hydrate-based technologies. His research direction is focused on the energy recovery process from unconventional resources (i.e., natural gas hydrate) and novel hydrate-based carbon capture and storage (CCS), hydrate-based cold energy storage and transport, hydrate-based energy storage coupled with renewable energy (e.g., offshore wind and solar energy). He has published more than 40 peer-reviewed papers in top-tier journals within the field of gas hydrate (e.g. Chemical Engineering Journal, Applied Energy, etc.), including 25 as the first or corresponding author, three of which are identified as ESI high-cited papers (top 1%). The total citation amounts to 1600+ with an H-index of 20. He has been providing editorial (serving in the Young Editorial Board and as a special issue editor) and peer-review services for more than 20 SCI journals in the field of Energy and Engineering, including Energy & Environmental Science, etc.
