Dr. Jin Wang is an Associate Professor at Guangzhou University. He received the Ph.D. in Environmental Science from Helmholtz Zentrum Muenchen-Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, a Joint-Ph.D. (Germany-China) Scholarship Program. He worked as a Visiting Scholar in Department of Earth Sciences, University of Oxford, UK during June 2017-May 2018. He has published more than 80 SCI indexed papers in journals such as Environment International, Environmental Science and Technology, Journal of Hazardous Material and Environmental Pollution. He is the (Youth) editorial member of International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, Carbon Research, and serves as an Associate Editor of Frontiers in Soil Science (Soil Pollution & Remediation section). His research of interest mainly includes distribution, migration, transformation, isotopic tracing and pollution remediation of unconventional heavy metals (typically thallium and uranium) in various environmental media like water, sediment, soil and plants, etc. in mining/smelting affected areas.
