Jun Mei received his Ph.D. from Queensland University of Technology (QUT, Australia) in 2019, and now is a Lecturer in School of Chemistry and Physics (QUT) and an Investigator in Centre for Materials Science of QUT. His major research topics include rational design of advanced nanomaterials for energy storage (e.g. rechargeable batteries and supercapacitors) and green catalysis (e.g. electrocatalysis and environmental remediation). He has published over 40 journal articles and 3 book chapters, including 7 cover papers, and received over 40 media coverage times. He serves as associate editor for Frontiers in Energy Research, editorial advisory board member for Heliyon, and editorial board members for 5 journals in materials science and energy chemistry fields. He has received several prestigious awards (e.g. QLD Fresh Scientist), and hold members for several famous associations (e.g. AAAS and MRS).
