Dr. Zhengxuan Liu is currently engaged in Marie Skłodowska-Curie postdoctoral research work at Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment, Delft University of Technology. In 2022, he has been honored with the "Vebleo Fellow" (which recognizes researcher or scientist who has prominence and leadership in the field of science, engineering, and technology, with a successfully selected rate of about 18%). He had also been awarded to Best Researcher Award by the International Research Awards on Science, Health and Engineering, 2022. He has published more than 60 research outputs, including about 26 SCI journal papers, 4 invited book chapters, and 33 Chinese patents. He has been responsible for 4 projects as the PI researcher with the approved funding of about EUR 400,000.

He was the Editorial Board Member of 4 international journals, and was the Guest Editor of 4 special issues for high-quality SCI journal. He is currently a reviewer of more than 18 SCI international journals, e.g., Applied Energy; Energy Conversion and Management; Journal of Cleaner Production; Building and Environment; Case studies in Thermal Engineering; Energy Reports; International Journal of Energy Research; Sustainable Energy Technologies and Assessments; Journal of Energy Storage; Energy and Buildings, etc.
