Dr. Wang Peng is a researcher at the College of Ecology and Environment, Chengdu University of Technology, and a fixed researcher at the State Key Laboratory of Geohazard Prevention and Geoenvironment Protection. Dr. Wang is a specially-appointed expert of the "Thousand Talents Program" of Sichuan Province and a director of the Sichuan Youth Science and Technology Federation. His research interests include: 1) Soil carbon sequestration mechanism and sustainable improvement technology development, 2) Environmental geochemical behavior and effects of persistent free radicals, 3) Groundwater organic pollution and in-situ green and low-carbon remediation technology development. Some of the research results were published as the first author in journals such as Environ Sci & Technol, J Hazard Mater, etc.
