Yaqing Shu is currently working as an associate professor at the School of Navigation, Wuhan University of Technology. He obtained his Ph.D. at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. Dr. Shu carries out research on maritime traffic pollution, ship path planning, collision avoidance, etc. He hosted and participated in more than 20 research projects, including projects from the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Dr. Shu has published more than 30 SCI papers in high-quality journals. He serves as the managing editor of Ocean & Coastal Management.
