Dr.Mohamad Nor Azra is a Senior Researcher and Head of Climate Change Adaptation Laboratory, Institute of Marine Biotechnology, University Malaysia Terengganu Malaysia. He is one of the Inaugural Fellows for the Leadership for Climate Resilient Fisheries, U.S.A. He was the project coordinator for invasive species related to environmental sustainability and societal wellbeing, as well as an active member of theMalaysian Long-Term Research Grant Scheme for climate change impacts on the aquatic organism and a member of other research international projects or grants. He authored and co-authored 60 scientific papers, and edited one book and three book chapters. He was sponsored by the Malaysian Public Service Department Scholarship, Scholarship Talent Attraction and Retention (STAR), and MyBrain15 (MyPhD & MyMaster) Postgraduate Scholarship during 2011 - 2018. His research areas include 1) Effects of climate change on marine aquatic organisms 2) invasive species toward the sustainable environment and societal wellbeing and 3) Physiological and behavioral changes of the echinoderms.
