I have completed my B.S. and Ph.D. study in Department of Hydraulic Engineering, Tsinghua University in 2009 and 2014, respectively, and became an assistant research fellow in Tsinghua University since 2017 when I finished my postdoc work. I mainly engage in the research of environmental sediment, i.e., to study the environmental effects of sediment dynamics, analyze the coupling among flow, sediment, and pollutant transport, and propose new strategies of contaminated sediment remediation. Relevant achievements have been applied in the actual projects of reservoirs, lakes, and estuaries in China (e.g., Three Gorges Reservoir, Taihu Lake, and Hangzhou Bay). I have published more than 40 papers in journals such as Journal of Hydrology, Water Research, and Ecological Modelling, and coauthored a springer book entitled ‘Mechanics of Bio-sediment Transport’, which systematically evaluates and quantifies the effects of biological factors – biofilm on sediment transport mechanics. Moreover, I won a second prize of National Natural Science Award (2020) and a second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award (2017).
