Ali Kharrazi 副教授

   Ali Kharrazi is an Associate Professor at Akita International University in Japan and a Research Scholar at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA). His overarching research interests lie in the area of socio-environmental systems and more specifically the sustainability and resilience of water, energy, food, trade, and urban systems. Ali has been a recipient of the European Union Commission Marie Curie Actions Research Fellowship and the Green Talents Awards from the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. He holds a Ph.D. in Sustainability Science from The University of Tokyo and graduate degrees from Cambridge University and the London School of Economics. Ali previously worked as a Researcher at the Euro-Mediterranean Center for Climate Change Research, Ca’Foscari University in Italy, as a consultant for the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, and as a researcher for the Graduate School of Public Policy, The University of Tokyo in Japan.
