Dr. Bin Han got his Ph.D. degree from the College of Environmental Science and Engineering, Nankai University, China. He used to be the senior visiting scientist of the School of Public Health University of Washington. He is currently working in State Key Laboratory of Environmental Criteria and Risk Assessment, Chinese Academy of Environmental Sciences. His research interests mainly focus on the health effects of particulate matter and its components or sources, especially traffic related air pollution (TRAP), including both tailpipe and non-tailpipe emissions. He has hosted or participated in the National Basic Research Program of China, the Ministry of Environmental Protection's public welfare industry project, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, etc. He is currently serving as the guest editor of the special issue of Environmental Pollution.
