刘国瑞 教授

Guorui Liu is currently holding a professor position in Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences, CAS and Hangzhou Institute for Advanced Study, UCAS. His research interest is emission evaluation, formation mechanism and pollution control of dioxins and other persistent organic pollutants (POPs) during industrial manufacturing processes. He also study the environmental behaviors and transformations of organic pollutants released from industrial emissions. It is expected to contribute to the sustainable industrial development and the simultaneous environmental protection by studying the synergistic control of multiple industrial pollutant emissions. He has published over 150 papers on scientific journals. He won the “Yong Scientist Award” in the 13th International Symposium of Persistent Toxic Substance held in Germany in 2016 and the “Hong Kong Scholar Award” in 2013. He, as team member, was also awarded the National Science and Technology Progress Award (China, Second Class) and Environmental Protection Science and Technology Award (China, First Class) in 2019. He, as technical expert, also contributed to the independent evaluation of POPs related projects from UNIDO and UNDP.
