Dr. Xinlei Ge is a professor at NUIST. His research interests and experiences are in the field of environmental chemistry and air pollution, mainly focusing on the characterization, source apportionment and formation mechanisms of atmospheric pollutants (aerosols, volatile organic compounds, etc.). Dr. Ge has received research funding from the National Natural Science Foundation (NSF) of China, and from Jiangsu Provinces, etc. He also received the national overseas high-level young talents program. He has published > 190 peer-reviewed research papers in international journals, including >90 papers as the first/corresponding authors in Nature Communications, PNAS, Environmental Science & Technology (ES&T), Environment International, Environment Pollution, etc. His work has been cited >7000 times and his H-index is 47 (google scholar data). He serves as the reviewer of many high-ranked journals, including Nature Communications, ES&T/ES&T Letter, etc. He is also now editorial members of a few other journals, including Engineering, Journal of Environmental Sciences, Toxics, etc.
