Małgorzata Świąder 学者

Dr. Małgorzata Świąder is a Young Researcher within the Institute of Spatial Management for the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences (UPWr) in Poland and holding a position as Adjunct. She is member of the Leading Research Group ‘Sustainable Cities and Regions’ at UPWr. Currently, Małgorzata is leading two projects: (1) ‘FoodSHIFT2030’ from H2020, where she is a leader of research WP dedicated to assessment of city-region food system using indictors and spatial metrics (foodshed, footprint); (2) national individual grant, where she is implementing carbon footprint assessment within environmental carrying capacity approach for more sustainable development. 

She was/is a member in other research international projects as ‘City&Co’. Małgorzata is author and co-author of 30 scientific papers, four chapters in a monograph and one book chapter. Since 2015 she is a member of the Society of Polish Town Planners (TUP) branch in Wrocław, and since 2021 has been a president of TUP branch in Wrocław. 

Her research areas include: 1) Environmental carrying capacity assessment using Carbon Footprint; 2) Land Use Change and Spatio-temporal Patterns; 3) Socio-environmental vulnerability assessment.
