Dr. Kai Zhu is currently an Associate Professor at College of Materials Science and Chemical Engineering, Harbin Engineering University. He received his Ph.D. from Jilin University, China and the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Japan in 2016. Between 2020 and 2022, he worked as a Hong Kong Scholar at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His research interests focus on (1) Novel nanomaterial synthesis and applications in electrochemical energy storage and conversion technology; (2) Design of low-cost and high-safety aqueous batteries technology, and (3) spent batteries recycling technology. Published more than 200 peer-reviewed papers in the referred journals.
