Dr. Chen focuses on the effects of atmospheric pollutants and meteorology, climate change on human health and their mechanisms. He has published more than 100 papers with first or corresponding authorship (including tied) in SCI journals such as New Engl J Med, BMJ, Circulation, Euro Heart J, J Am Coll Cardiol, Am J Respir Crit Care Med, Eur Respir J, Lancet subjournals, etc. The impact factor of a single paper The median impact factor of a single paper is more than 10 points. He was named as Elsevier China's Highly Cited Scholar (2020-2021), National Top 100 Academic Impact of Public Health and Preventive Medicine Experts (2020), and Top 2% of Global Top Scientists (2020-2021).
